This book was printed under shelling in Ukraine, 40km from the front line. The designer's flat suffered from the explosion while she was creating the cover. Everyone who worked on the book did this for free.

All the stories in the book are true.

The money from the sales was intended to go to the people featured in the book, but they all declined and instead decided to donate to selected charities: to fund anti-mining equipment for farmers, buy medicine for the children's hospital in Lviv, deliver tactical medicine to the front line and to support children's library in Kherson and a dog shelter in Kharkiv.
